Welcome Grace Gilman!

Marlyn Hawkins

Please join all of us at CALG in welcoming Grace Gilman as our newest attorney!  Grace is a Seattle native with a law degree from the University of San Diego Seattle.  In school, she excelled on law review while serving externships for two federal judges.  She was also a member of the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team, where she competed in arbitration competitions against law students from all over the world.

Since getting her law degree, Grace’s legal career has focused on various aspects of real estate law and corporate governance.  She has excellent reasoning and writing skills and enjoys working with communities on governance issues.  Grace is currently licensed in California and is studying for the Washington Bar, so for now, she is playing an amazing supporting role, but we look forward to adding her to our roster as a full-fledged Washington attorney soon!

A voracious reader (and maybe upcoming author – remember her name!), we think Grace  has what it takes to be the next best community association lawyers in the Pacific Northwest!  Please join us in welcoming her to our community of communities!

New firm, same great service! In 2023, we made a cooperative business decision to separate from Barker Martin to create the “Community Association Law Group” to focus on general counsel advice and services for condominium and HOA communities. So, if you’re looking for the same “focused, responsive, and proven” general counsel representation we provided there, you’ve come to the right place!
